Build capacity within DeSales Community Development by enhancing resident engagement in affordable housing, developing sustainable programming in collaboration with the Community Services Coordination (CSC) department, and laying the groundwork for potential future Community Advisory Board (CAB) initiatives. The VISTA will work to create resilient networks of social support by integrating CSC services and fostering long-term resident wellbeing. This role will focus on developing and facilitating new programming to build social cohesion among residents, creating lasting structures for community involvement, and enhancing communication channels. Additionally, the VISTA will establish opportunities for peer resource sharing to promote mutual aid and strengthen community ties.

DeSales Community Development is seeking an entry-level accountant to join our team and support our finance department. This position will be primarily responsible for performing bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and assisting in various accounting functions for the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to the continued growth and success of our mission. This position will begin as a contract role at 30 hours per week, with the possibility to transition to a full-time staff position.
