Community Garden
Nestled in the middle of the 2600 block of California Ave., the DeSales Community Garden is a neighborhood oasis where community and plenty of fresh, healthy food flourish. Our garden currently boasts 19 individual garden beds and 5 shared beds, a welcoming patio with picnic tables, a Missouri native plant garden, and lots of community spirit. We are proudly supported by Seed St. Louis!
Membership for an individual bed (limit of 2 beds per household) is $25 per bed. Garden members must also commit to 2 hours per month helping maintain the shared garden space. Members additionally help grow and harvest our shared beds filled with strawberries, flowers, tomatoes, and potatoes!
