Registration for Spring Basketball has been extended! Kids in grades K-6 are invited to sign up for the SouthSide Rec Basketball League. The league will run from April to early May. Registration is $8 and includes uniforms.
As always, volunteer coaches, game day volunteers, and officials are needed! If you are interested in coaching as a volunteer parent please indicate your interest on the child registration form; other interested adult volunteers can email Sheltoria Love at sheltoria@desalescd.com.
Scholarships are also available at request! If you want to pay cash please contact Sheltoria, and stop by the DeSales Office at 2759 Russell Blvd.
Volunteer to Coach
The SouthSide Rec basketball league is low cost, non-competitive, and the time commitment is small. We need dedicated volunteer coaches who are available for ONE weekday evening for ONE hour from 5:00pm-7:00pm, in addition to being available for games for ONE hour on Saturdays.
We are in desperate need of coaches for the following divisions: 1st and 2nd Grade (3 open Assistant coach positions) , 3rd and 4th Grade (3 open Assistant Coach positions), and 5th and 6th Grade (2 open Assistant Coach positions).

Redbird Rookies Baseball
Redbird Rookies is BACK! It is a free, noncompetitive, coed baseball/softball program for youth ages 5-13. In addition to providing all the uniforms and equipment needed for each team, Redbird Rookies provides extensive off-field support in the areas of health, education, mentoring, cultural arts and scholarship. Register for the DeSales Redbird Rookies league TODAY.
