DeSales Seeks Clean-Up of Former Plating Facility

In early 2021, DeSales engaged Legal Services of Eastern Missouri to pursue legal action against the owners of 2501 Texas Ave, a long-vacant former bumper plating facility in Fox Park. Upon receiving Right of Entry to the property and conducting an initial walk-through, it became apparent that the site would need extensive environmental clean-up. In August, the Environmental Protection Agency conducted initial sampling. More sampling will be conducted soon to determine the scope of clean-up needed. We are hopeful to have this hazardous site cleaned up and returned to productive use in the near future.
