DeSales Preservation

DeSales Preservation, our latest Low-Income Housing Tax Credit project, provides 65 units of affordable housing in our immediate service area, with 18 of the 19 buildings being located in the Fox Park neighborhood.  All but one of the DeSales Preservation buildings have been owned by affiliates of DeSales Community Development since at least 1998. The buildings were all originally constructed from 1882 to 1923.

In addition to Fox Grove providing management services the 65 rental units, DeSales Preservation will be supported by a service-enriched program, currently run by a full-time staff member at DeSales. This program consists of a Community Services Coordinator, who will work directly with residents to provide assistance with healthcare and social service inquires.
