Introducing a New Era
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As we're sure you're all aware, DeSales is entering a new era, one in which we intend to honor the foundation that has been established while also introducing new perspectives and change. We owe a great deal of appreciation and gratitude to you, friends and neighbors, for consulting with us, celebrating with us, and supporting us over the last year as we transitioned from our Executive Director of 35-years, Tom Pickel, to our new Executive Director, Becky Reinhart. It is never in doubt how integral your input is to our continual success and this past year’s succession.
So, let’s enter this new year and new era, with some re-introductions and introductions about what will remain the same and what will change at DeSales Community Development.
In summation, much of the same services, programs, and projects that we conducted last year will continue into this year and beyond, albeit with quite a few new faces and some familiar ones as well!
First off, let’s re-introduce our new Executive Director, Becky Reinhart.
What Becky’s most looking forward to: Getting to build on DeSales' incredible 48-year history strengthening St. Louis neighborhoods with our amazing team; working more closely with our dedicated Board of Directors to advance the mission!
Re-introducing Tiffany Minx as our new Assistant Director.
What Tiffany’s Most Looking Forward To: Growing with the organization and getting more deeply engaged with our broader community and partners.
Next up, meet our new Community Services Manager, Mia Sutton
What Mia’s most looking forward to: connecting with community members and becoming a liaison between change and growth within the community we serve.
We have yet another new person to introduce: Fundraising and Communications Manager, Lilly Murphy
What Lilly’s Most Looking Forward To: Working with internal and external stakeholders to sustain the work of DeSales far into the future.
