DeSales Awarded $50,000 for “Here to Stay” Program

DeSales is honored and excited to have again been awarded funding for its innovative effort to help our residents avoid eviction - the Here to Stay program! The Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) uses city funding to support the development of affordable housing and programs that help city residents access and maintain that housing.

On January 11, the AHTF announced winners of funding for 2021, and DeSales' Here to Stay (HTF) program received $50,000 for its third year of programming! This program works to support eligible residents of Fox Grove Management housing who have fallen behind on rent by connecting them to supportive services and financial coaching in order to avoid eviction and get back on track towards personal stability.

This year's AHTF proposal also included a new set of dynamic services aimed at impacting more residents and meeting them where they are at. In addition to the HTS program, AHTF funding will support connecting residents to available assistance through rent assistance clinics, specialized training of our management team, and one-on-one assistance from our Community Services Coordination staff.
